Famous entertainers and athletes deserve to have more privacy than they have now.
Some people think that those celebrities deserve more privacy than they have now. As we know, celebrities such as famous entertainers and athletes significantly influence their behaviors and words to the general public. The issue can be weighed in many aspects. From my perspective, I do concur with the statement that famous entertainers and athletes should have a more private life. We will discuss the reasons down below.
Admittedly, some people may stand on a point that those famous people’s private life is more intriguing and compelling than their achievement. Moreover, the media can gain huge profits by scrutinizing those people’s private life. However, if people give famous entertainers and athletes more personal time after work, they may perform well in their fields and have balanced lives.
First of all, people nowadays tend to focus on famous people’s personal lives because they have fantasies or expectations about it. Nonetheless, celebrities are normal people as the general public after performing a show on the stage or finishing a competition. When people overly follow their private life, it will only generate negative effects on celebrities’ performance and minds. Because people incline to talk about famous people and the media will spend a lot of time scrutinizing their behaviors, celebrities will feel tremendous stress on their lives, lacking proper relaxation after high-tension works. Therefore, their mental health will be hard to maintain and final decrease their quality of the work.
On the other hand, famous entertainers and athletes also have the right to relish the time with family. Although they have decided to be famous in their career, their children do not necessarily follow the parents’ path. For example, Michael Jackson always covers his children’s faces in front of the public because he does not want his children to gain too much attention from fans. Moreover, when people give famous people more privacy, their children can avoid some trouble in school. Their children’s classmates will not be jealous and cause the bully problem since children keep on low profile and avert overexposure to the public. Consequently, with more privacy, famous people can enjoy their precious family time with children and help children avoid unnecessary trouble in educational pursuits.
To sum up, the statement is as persuasive as it stands. Based on my expositions mentioned above, famous entertainers and athletes deserve more privacy to have well-balanced life with family without bearing extra pressure and affecting their performance. After all, famous people are not impeccable, and they are just as usual humans as the public.
